ELECTRIC FUSION (E/F) SHEET METHOD
E/F SHEET is used for site joint insulation work of pre-insulated pipe with HDPE Jacket. This method is more high quality, perfect water proof, long life time, short construction time, economic cost than the existing HDPE sleeve method with heat shrinkable sheet. This E/F sheet method consists of several elements such as PVC spacer, HDPE supporter, E/F Sheet. The E/F sheet on HDPE jacket pipe are welded together by the stainless steel heating meshes embedded in E/F sheet.
ADVANTAGE OF USING E/F SHEET
High Quality
Welding work is carried out by a welding machine controlled by computer. It calculates the exact welding time and controls the process automatically.
Long Life Time
Through the experience of electric joint of plastic pipe, the lifetime of E/F sheet on HDPE pipes is proved. The E/F sheet has the same properties of HDPE jacket pipe.
Perfect Watertight
Pressure test is carried out with a pneumatic pressure 0.2 bar. The soil stress and water impermeability are tested in accordance with EN 489.
Quick and secure installation
E/F Sheet method are very simple to install it by the E/F sheet welding machine and save a working time for installation.
